Sustainable efforts in San Bruno are being attempted within several of the city's management departments. From creating a Green StormWater system to Disposable Food Service Ware Ordinance to offering city-wide composting collections. The proposed ordinance will help eliminate the use of disposable food service ware that is not reusable or compostable. One exciting program not seen in many other cities is the Lawn Be Gone! granting up to $4 per square foot of lawn that residents transform.
